Moto 1
Justin Cooper early lead with Joey Savatgy in second. There was not much movement in the top five for the first 20 minutes. Savatgy spent about 5 minutes pushing Cooper hard before finally taking the lead about 20 minutes into the race. Once getting the lead, Savatgy pulled away and looked good for the win before his bike broke down with 2 laps to go. Cooper inherited the lead and cruised to the win.
Moto 2
Savatgy and Zach Osborne were caught in a first turn pileup and got going way back in the pack. Alex Martin got the holeshot with Jeremy Martin chasing him down. Alex Martin held off Jeremy for about 15 minutes before finally giving up the lead. Jeremy Martin pulled away for the win. Most of the late action was the battle for third between Austin Forkner, Jordon Smith and Aaron Plessinger, with Forkner coming out on top.
450 Class
Moto 1
Justin Barcia took the holeshot and along with Eli Tomac they pulled away from the pack. Tomac was pushing Barcia hard, but with about 20 minutes remaining, Kyle Chisholm crashed and brought out a red flag, which meant a restart of the moto. Blake Baggett got the holeshot on the restart but was quickly passed by Ken Roczen. Tomac kept the pressure on Roczen for about 11 minutes before overtaking Roczen and pulling away from the win. Roczen faced a challenge by Baggett but was able to hold on for second place.
Moto 2
The second moto was a little like the first moto. Barcia took an early lead and Tomac started chasing him down. This time Barcia went down and Tomac got caught in the wreckage. Roczen inherited the lead with Tomac falling to third behind Baggett. Barcia fell to sixth.
Tomac made quick work of Baggett and then chased Roczen for about 15 minutes before getting past him. Once ahead of Roczen it was smooth sailing for Tomac’s sixth straight moto win.
