450 Class
Ken Roczen took an early lead when teammate Christian Craig crashed on the first lap. Roczen held off Eli Tomac for nearly 20 minutes before Tomac finally got the pass. Once he did, Tomac pulled away for the win. Roczen faded a bit and finished third behind Marvin Musquin.
In the second moto, Jason Anderson had an 8-second lead with four laps to go and looked on his way to the win, but Tomac wasn’t done. Anderson’s lap times started falling and Tomac passed Anderson with two laps remaining and pulled away for the win. Roczen got a rock stuck between his engine and skidplate and thought he had a mechanical problem, so pulled off the track. With the rock removed, Roczen was in last place, but rode hard for an
8th-place finish.
250 Class
Gage Schehr had an early lead but got passed by Aaron Plessinger about halfway through the first loop. After losing a few positions, Schehr stalled in a berm and ended up finishing a career-best 26th place. Zach Osborne was able to run Plessinger down and get with a second of him in the last couple of laps, but had a small crash with two laps left to end a chance at getting the win.
Alex Martin took the second moto holeshot and held on for about 10 minutes before giving up the lead to Aaron Plessinger. Once he got the lead, Plessinger was never challenged again. Late in the race Osborne was in fourth place and pushing for third. As he approached the finish line jump, he swapped hard on the whoops and crashed into a fence, catching his rear wheel on the chain link. Osborne was OK and quickly rejoined the race but lost a position in the process
