In the first 250 moto, Austin Forkner took an early lead and looked to be in good position. But one of the privateers in the back of the pack crashed and brought out a red flag and forced a full restart. In the restart, Forkner had a bad start and Alex Martin went down early on. This enabled Adam Ciancarulo the chance to take the lead. Ciancarulo held on for awhile with points leader Cody Webb in chase. Ciancarulo couldn’t keep the pace and allowed Webb to get by. Webb was never again challenged for the lead. Joey Savatgy also got by Ciancarulo for a second-place finish. Aaron Plessinger made up a ton of time late in the race to give Savatgy a challenge, but was unable to make a pass stick and settled for third.
In the 450 class, Eli Tomac scored the official holeshot, but Justin Barcia quickly passed him for the lead. Ken Roczen was in third, but did what he’s done all year and made quick work of Tomac and Barcia to take the lead. Roczen cruised to the win and Tomac finished second.
In the second 250 moto, Forkner took another lead and managed to hold off Cooper Webb for the first 25 minutes, but Webb eventually got by. Jessy Nelson went down and brought out another red flag for the 250 class. With 20+ minutes completed, the race was called – giving Webb the win. Forkner got second and Aaron Plessinger took third.
In moto 2 for the 450’s, Ken Roczen took a rare holeshot, but continued his fast first laps and checked out from the field to win by over 40 seconds. Marvin Musquin had a solid ride to finish second and Tomac took third.
