250 Class

First Moto

Aaron Plessinger got the holeshot and walked away for the win. The race win also clinched the season championship for Plessinger. Alex Martin was the only rider who still had a chance at the championship, but he started 11th and wasn’t a factor in the race.

Second Moto

Plessinger got the holeshot again in the second moto with RJ Hampshire again following behind in second. About 11 minutes into the race Hampshire passed Plessinger for the lead and then Chase Sexton got past him for second place. Plessinger had a minor crash and fell out of contention while Hampshire and Sexton battled. Hampshire began to pull away and took the win.

450 Class

First Moto

Marvin Musquin got the early lead but Ken Roczen took it from him a few turns later and started putting some distance between them. Roczen held a solid lead for the first 25 minutes before Musquin was finally able to show him a front wheel. Musquin pushed Roczen for a few laps, and then Roczen was able to pull away with about 3 laps to go and cruise to the win. Eli Tomac started around 10th and worked his way to 3rd but was never a factor in the race.

Second Moto

Phil Nicoletti took the holeshot but gave way to Musquin on the first lap. Roczen chased Musquin for the first half of the moto before finally making a pass. Tomac had another 10th place start and looked to be falling behind the leaders. But about 20 minutes into the race he put on a run and got past Musquin for second place with 7 minutes on the clock. Four minutes later Tomac passed Roczen for the lead and eventually the win. With about 2 minutes left Blake Baggett came from nowhere to pass Musquin and Roczen. The pass over Roczen pushed Roczen out of the overall win for the day.
