The rain started to fall a bit in the first 250 moto, and by the time the 450 moto began, rain was coming down steadily and the track got muddy.
Adam Cianciarulo took the holeshot in the first 250 moto, with Joey Savatgy tagging along behind him waiting for an opportunity. Savatgy got what he needed when Cianciarulo tipped over halfway through the race, allowing Savatgy and Jeremy Martin to get by. Savatgy cruised the rest of the way for the win. Martin took third and Zach Osborne made a late pass on Cianciarulo to take third.
In a surprise, Matt Bisceglia won the holeshot of the first 450 moto. He held on for about 5 minutes before finally succumbing to Marvin Musquin. Once taking the lead, it looked like Musquin might cruise to another win, but with about 10 minutes left, Blake Baggett moved up to second place and began putting pressure on Musquin. As the race went on the weather got rainier and windier. With about 3 minutes left on the clock, the race was red-flagged due to lightning, giving Musquin the win.
In the second 250 moto, the race started with the track completely covered in water. Jeremy Martin got the holeshot, and was never really challenged en route to the win. First-time pro Justin Cooper took second with Dylan Ferrandis finishing third.
With the rain and mud continuing throughout the second 450 moto, Marvin Musquin cruised to a wire-to-wire win.
