Jett Lawrence grabbed the holeshot and Austin Forkner quickly settled into second. But halfway through the first lap, Forkner made a mistake and nearly crashed while falling back to third place behind RJ Hampshire.
Five minutes into the race Forkner and Hampshire collided with both riders going down and dropping back in the pack. Christian Craig was the beneficiary and moved into second.
Late in the race Colt Nichols snuck past Craig for second.
Lawrence was never challenged after separating from Forkner on the first lap.
450 Class
Chase Sexton took the holeshot with Adam Cianciarulo and Eli Tomac following behind. Cianciarulo crashed about three minutes into the race and dropped back in the pack, while Sexton began pulling away from Tomac. But a minute later Sexton crashed hard and out of the race.
Tomac found himself with a five second lead over Zach Osborne, but Osborne slowly cut into Tomac’s lead and got within two seconds late in the race. But with two laps to go, Osborne crashed and surrendered second place to Dylan Ferrandis.
Justin Brayton held off a late charge from Cooper Webb for the final podium spot.
Justin Barcia had a mid-pack start and was never a factor.
