RJ Hampshire was the early leader but only held the spot for about a lap before giving way to Christian Craig. Craig pulled away a bit, leaving Hampshire to battle with Austin Forkner, Jett Lawrence and Colt Nichols.
Forkner finally got past Hampshire with about six minutes left in the race and pulled away from the other three.
With two laps left, Hampshire’s front tire slid out leaving Lawrence and Nichols to battle for the final podium spot. And Lawrence gave up his spot when he crashed on the last lap.
450 Class
Marvin Musquin and Justin Barcia battled for the first few corners before Musquin faded and Barcia pulled away. Justin Brayton moved into the second slot.
After a couple laps, Ken Roczen snuck past Brayton for second.
Roczen was all over Barcia for the second half of the race but was never able to make a pass that stuck.
Zach Osborne crashed on the opening turn and was buried in the pack.
Eli Tomac tangled two times with Vince Friese.
