Shane McElrath got the holeshot with Austin Forkner not far behind. Their main competition, Chase Sexton and Dylan Ferrandis were back just inside the top ten.
Three minutes into the race Forkner crashed and brought out a red flag.
On the restart Jett Lawrence got the holeshot with McElrath and Sexton close behind.
Three minutes in Lawrence had a bad couple of turns and let Sexton, McElrath and McAdoo get by.
Two laps later Sexton let McElrath pass him since all he needed to do was finish close to McElrath for the championship. Half a lap later McElrath let Sexton by and Sexton started to run away from the pack.
450 Class
Dean Wilson was the early leader and when Ken Roczen tried to make a pass his front end washed out and he went down.
The Husqvarna trio of Wilson, Jason Anderson and Zach Osborne held the top three spots for most of the race. Anderson and Osborne got past Wilson with about 13 minutes left in the race. Anderson started to pull away over the final 5 minutes but with 2 minutes left Anderson’s seat fell off and Osborne quickly made up time and took the lead with a minute remaining.
Cooper Webb crashed in the first turn and Eli Tomac stayed comfortably ahead of him the whole race to clinch the championship.
