RJ Hampshire was the early leader with Chase Sexton and Shane McElrath keeping things tight. McElrath snuck past Sexton early on but it didn’t stick, and Sexton pushed forward to make another run at Hampshire. With about eight minutes left Sexton finally was able to make a move on Hampshire and bumped into him in a corner and took the lead. Sexton pulled away and was never challenged again.
Jeremy Martin was running in fourth place close to the leaders but crashed with five minutes left to fall back in the pack.
450 Class
Ken Roczen got the holeshot and pulled away with an early lead. Eli Tomac had a bad start and was battling with Justin Barcia in seventh place and then Tomac collided with Blake Baggett, taking them both down and dropped to 15th place. Roczen pulled away and led by as much as 16 seconds without ever being challenged. By the final lap, Tomac was battling with Cooper Webb and Martin Davalos for third place.
