Christian Craig and Jett Lawrence took the early lead and were running neck-and-neck for about a lap before Lawrence got in front of Craig and then began to pull away. Dylan Ferrandis started putting pressure on Craig and with about six minutes left collided with Craig knocking Craig out of the race and giving Lawrence a huge lead. A few laps later Austin Forkner started putting pressure on Ferrandis for second place but made a mistake in the whoops, crashing and falling back to 18th place.
Lawrence looked like he would cruise to victory but with two minutes remaining had a crash of his own allowing Ferrandis to get close but still maintained the lead. On the final lap Ferrandis and Lawrence were dicing side by side with Ferrandis taking the lead halfway through the lap before Lawrence crashed out of the race shortly before the finish.
450 Class
Ken Roczen got the holeshot and took the early lead with Blake Baggett staying close. The rest of the field was shuffling around for third place on the first few laps.
Baggett made a move past Roczen three minutes into the race, but Roczen quickly got it back and then Baggett crashed himself out of contention.
Eli Tomac started in about 10th place and needed four minutes to work his way to second place and then quickly pulled away from the pack of Jason Anderson, Cooper Webb and Adam Cianciarulo who were battling for third.
Tomac passed Roczen for the lead with 13 minutes left on the clock and was never challenged again.
