Austin Forkner and Jett Lawrence started up front and Lawrence stayed about a second behind Forkner for most of the race. But Justin Cooper had a bad start and worked his way through the crowd and eventually passed Lawrence with about four minutes left. Cooper was unable to put any pressure on Forkner. Lawrence had to make a quick pit stop after getting passed and lost two more positions.
Dylan Ferrandis and Michael Mosiman were involved in a first lap crashed that put them in the back of the pack. Christian Craig was running near the front before crashing late in the race.
450 Class
Zach Osborne had the early lead with Ken Roczen on his tail. On the second lap Roczen pushed past Osborne and took the lead for good. Roczen pulled away and was never challenged. Roczen picked up his first win in about three years, since he injured his arm in 2017.
Cooper Webb was never in contention and was reportedly battling an illness.
