250 Class
Dylan Ferrandis got a rare good start and jumped out to the early lead with Cameron McDoo running second. Adam Cianciarulo was back in the pack a bit, needing to keep close to Ferrandis to win the championship.
Chase Sexton started with the leaders, with his only competition for the East championship, Justin Cooper way back in the pack.
With about 4 minutes left, Cianciarulo was in position to win the championship but crashed and damaged his bike so bad that he couldn’t ride at race pace.
With their competition deep in the pack, Ferrandis and Sexton cruised to championships.
450 Class
Eli Tomac got his first holeshot of the season and checked out from the pack for a wire-to-wire win. But it wasn’t enough to wrest the championship from Cooper Webb, who basically just needed to finish to seal the championship.
