Austin Forkner went wire to wire and was never challenged. Jordon Smith had to get his rear wheel changed on the starting gate, but that didn’t affect his race as he started in fourth position and quickly moved past Alex Martin and Martin Davalos into second. A few laps in Smith crashed and dropped a few spots but was again able to move back into second right away and stayed there this time. Martin was parked in third for most of the race with Justin Cooper on his rear wheel. Cooper passed Martin on the last lap and took the final podium spot.
450 Class
Cooper Webb took the holeshot, but Joey Savatgy passed him right away to take the lead early on. Webb settled in to second place with Ken Roczen and Blake Baggett in chase. Points leader Eli Tomac got squeezed off the start line and began the race in 17th place. Marvin Musquin moved into fifth, and the top five riders all spent the first half of the race within about 4 seconds of each other. Webb finally slipped past Savatgy with eight minutes left and began to pull away from the crowd.
Roczen needed about four minutes to get past Savatgy but by the time he did, Webb had extended his lead to over five seconds. Baggett and Musquin followed Roczen past Savatgy but then Baggett crashed out of the race.
