Adam Cianciarulo took the holeshot and was never challenged as he went wire-to-wire for the win. Shane McElrath held second place early on and looked like that’s where he might finish, but Colt Nichols took second place away with about six minutes left in the race. Early on, Dylan Ferrandis was riding with the front pack, but slid out and crashed and dropped back in the pack.

450 Class

In his heat race, Eli Tomac had trouble with his rear wheel and just missed transferring, so had to go to the last chance qualifier for the first time in five years.
Ken Roczen took the holeshot in the main event and pulled away from the pack a little bit before Malcolm Stewart crashed and drew a red flag about seven minutes into the race. Two laps after the restart, Jason Anderson and Roczen tangled up with Roczen going down and Anderson taking the lead and Roczen dropping to fourth.
Blake Baggett inherited second place and slowly reeled in Anderson. With a little over a minute left Baggett took the lead and quickly began to pull away and took his first career 450 win.
