There was rain during the week which made for a slightly muddy track with lots of ruts. The rain also meant just one practice session on Saturday, and the main events were cut down a couple of minutes.
In the 250 main event, Aaron Plessinger worked his way up to first on the second lap, but then the race was red-flagged with 2 riders down.
On the restart, Plessinger started in about 6th place, but quickly worked his way up. Martin Davalos took the holeshot and held onto the lead for the first three laps. But Plessinger was on fire, and caught Davalos and took the lead for good on the third lap.
Points leader Justin Hill had about a 5th place start, and moved up to second place by the sixth lap and held second place the rest of the way to limit the damage to his points lead.
Mitchell Oldenburg also started back a bit, but worked his way towards the front. He diced with Jimmy Decotis for quite a few laps before finally overtaking Decotis for good and taking third place.
In the 450 main, Ryan Dungey got caught in a minor pileup in the first corner and stalled his bike. By the time he got going, he was in last place. The troubles left a door wide open for Eli Tomac, but Tomac struggled on the first lap and found himself in 10th place.
Marvin Musquin had a good start and found himself with the lead after about 4 turns. Musquin went on to win without ever facing much of a challenge.
Tomac was the fastest bike on the track and worked his way up to third halfway through the race, but came up short on a jump and went down. The crash only cost him one spot and he got back on the bike just as fast as ever. Tomac continued to charge and made it to second place, but ran out of time to try to make a move on Musquin.
Meanwhile, Dungey continued to work his way through the pack and eventually finished fourth.
Jason Anderson split the title contenders with a third place finish.
