Ryan Dungey entered the night needing to finish in 14th or better to clinch the 450 championship.
The track held together well, with very few ruts forming.
In the main event, Ken Roczen grabbed the holeshot and checked out early. Roczen cruised to the victory, finishing nearly 20 seconds ahead of second-place finisher Eli Tomac.
Dungey looked to be riding a little bit conservatively and finished in fourth to clinch the championship. The fourth place finish snapped his streak of 31 consecutive podium finishes.
In the 250 main event, Malcolm Stewart got the holeshot, but fell behind Marvin Davalos for a couple laps early on. Stewart eventually retook the lead and went on for the victory to extend his points lead to 14 over Aaron Plessinger.
Plessinger had a bad start, but fought his way back to fifth place. |
