250 Class
First Moto – Ty Masterpool was racing for the first time this year and he made a splash by pulling a holeshot and then running off to an eight second lead in the first ten minutes. Darrien Sanayei was in second with Jeremy Martin in third. On the first lap Dylan Ferrandis crashed just after passing Jeremy Martin and then fell outside the top 20.
Jeremy Martin needed about eight minutes to finally work past Sanayei and then try to reel in Masterpool. It took Jeremy Martin about 15 minutes to finally get past Masterpool.
Second Moto – Sanayei and Shane McElrath spent the first lap dicing back and forth before McElrath pulled away from him for good. Jeremy Martin and Alex Martin soon passed Sanayei to jump into the top three spots. Jeremy Martin stayed close to McElrath and finally got past him about 15 minutes into the race.
Ferrandis had a bad start and steadily moved his way up through the pack. He passed Alex Martin for third on the final lap.
450 Class
First Moto – Zach Osborne got the holeshot and was dealing with early pressure from Adam Cianciarulo before Cianciarulo crashed. Osborne held a comfortable three-second lead over Marvin Musquin for most of the moto. Eli Tomac started about tenth and very slowly worked his way through the pack.
Second Moto – Osborne got another holeshot and cruised to the win. Cianciarulo and Justin Barcia had an intense back-and-forth battle for the first ten minutes and continued to dice for the remainder of the race. Tomac had another bad start and worked his way to fifth but was never able to get past Chase Sexton.
