250 Class
In the first moto, Derek Drake took the holeshot and started pulling away from the pack before crashing on the third lap. Drake tried to continue, but eventually pulled out of the race. Justin Cooper inherited the lead after Drake’s crash and hung on until about the halfway point, when Chase Sexton finally made his way past. Once taking the lead, Sexton was never challenged. Adam Cianciarulo had a bad start and worked his way up to fourth but gave up the fourth spot to Dylan Ferrandis with about 4 laps to go.
Cooper and Ferrandis emerged as early leaders and pulled away from the crowd with Cianciarulo in third. First moto winner, Sexton, pulled out of the race early due to fatigue from the first moto. Ferrandis worked his way past Cooper and held on for the win.
450 Class
Cooper Webb had the early lead with Ken Roczen close behind for the first two laps. Roczen passed Webb and held on until the halfway point when Marvin Musquin took the lead. Musquin pulled away for a convincing win. Eli Tomac had a bad start and was in 18th place early on and had to settle for a 7th place finish.
Tomac got a rare motocross holeshot for him. Early on he faced a challenge from Jason Anderson, but Anderson eventually faded. Then Musquin started getting close to Tomac, but he also faded. At the end of the moto Zack Osborne was starting to get close, but it was too little too late and Tomac went wire-to-wire for the win. Roczen was running in fifth place for the first half of the race before crashing and dropping to tenth.
