250 Class

In the first moto Joey Savatgy took the early lead but threw it away on the first lap when his front tire washed out in a corner. Jordon Smith inherited the lead and held on for a few laps before losing it to Aaron Plessinger who started in 9th place. Plessinger was never challenged once he took the lead. Alex Martin started outside the top 10 but was only able to work his way up to sixth place.

Martin took the second moto holeshot but only held the lead for half a lap before giving way to Plessinger. Martin held with Plessinger for a bit before Plessinger slowly pulled away without any challenges.

450 Class

Ken Roczen got the holeshot and extended his lead to over 3 seconds in the first 4 minutes of the moto. Eli Tomac started in fourth and quickly got past Blake Baggett and Marvin Musquin when each of them made minor mistakes. Once he got past Musquin, Tomac caught up to Roczen pretty quick and chased him for about 20 minutes before lapped traffic created enough of a smokescreen for Roczen to let Tomac slip by. Tomac pulled away for the win once taking the lead.

In the second moto Justin Bogle took the holeshot but didn’t hold on for long before Musquin took the lead and brought Roczen with him. Tomac started in about 10th and had to work his way up. By the time he got to third, he was 7 seconds behind Musquin. Much like the first moto, Tomac chased Roczen for about 20 minutes before finally passing Tomac. The difference this time was that Musquin was still 4 seconds in the lead with 4 minutes to go. With less than 3 laps to go Tomac passed Musquin for the lead and went on to the win.
