Alex Martin grabbed the holeshot in the first 250 moto and halfway through pulled out to a 4 second lead, and it looked like he would check out for the win. Instead, Jeremy Martin pulled up to him and gave him a run for a couple laps. Then Jeremy Martin fell back allowing Joey Savatgy to make a push for the lead. Austin Forkner was riding on fire and passed Savatgy and looked like he might finally have the speed to get Alex Martin, but Forkner had a little bobble with two laps remaining, that gave Alex Martin the spacing he needed to hang on for a wire-to-wire win that was anything but easy.
Points leader Zach Osborne had a minor crash early on and was never a factor in the moto.
In the second moto, Alex Martin was buried in the pack with Savatgy getting the holeshot. Plessinger was hot on his heels and took the lead a few turns later. While leading, Plessinger had a weird situation where he crashed over a blind job, ending up on the opposite side of the track from his bike. With never-ending traffic, he was unable to cross the track and get back to his bike until he had fallen back to last place, surrendering his lead to Savatgy.
Jeremy Martin hunted Savatgy down for the rest of the moto, but was never able to get by as Savatgy took the win and the overall. Forkner finished third. Jeremy and Alex Martin rounded out the overall podium.
Martin Davalos had the early lead in the first 450 moto, but fell on the second lap, relinquishing the lead to Justin Bogle. Points leader Marvin Musquin was involved in a first-turn pileup with Josh Grant and Blake Baggett. Eli Tomac was running third early in the race when he tipped over and stalled the bike. By the time he got going again, he had fallen back to sixth place.
Despite the early pileup, Baggett and Musquin had both worked their way up into the top 5 late in the race.
Bogle took the win without ever being challenged. Jason Anderson took second and Baggett rounded out the podium.
In the second moto, Tomac had a fourth place start and quickly worked his way to first. After he pulled ahead by a few seconds, Baggett charged him down and got on his rear wheel and chased down Tomac for a few laps before finally taking the lead halfway through the race. Once ahead, Baggett pulled away for a convincing win.
